Description
Yukiko Morita Pampshade Melonpan Bread Lamp – inspired by Japan’s beloved sweet bread, this lamp captures the soft, rounded form and cracked cookie-like top of melonpan. Handmade from real bread, it emits a gentle, comforting glow that brings warmth and whimsy to any room while promoting sustainability through upcycling.
- Design – authentic melonpan shell with its signature cracked cookie top, hollowed and preserved to diffuse light
- Material – real bread (flour, sugar, butter, yeast, salt) with built-in LED lights
- Size – approx. 10 to 12 cm
- Power – requires 1 x AA battery (not included); sensor switch activates when placed on a flat surface
- Lighting – soft ambient glow, LED lifespan up to 50,000 hours
- Note – each lamp is handmade from real bread, so shape, cracks, and colour may vary; small holes or surface marks are natural and not defects
- Care – coated with anti-bacterial and anti-fungal protection; fragile, handle gently (similar to glass)
