Description

Introducing the ‘Krater N°1’ vase, a striking fusion of ancient Greek pottery and contemporary design. This vase features delicate blue underglaze illustrations that blend traditional and modern aesthetics seamlessly. The designer meticulously applies the blue underglazes by hand before the initial firing, evoking the elegance of antiquity. A second firing at 1250°C, followed by a transparent glaze on the interior, ensures both durability and a refined finish. Each artisanal piece may vary slightly in decorative patterns and shapes, showcasing the authentic craftsmanship that defines our collection.

ABOUT THE BRAND

INI CERAMIQUE

INI CERAMIQUE, founded by South Korean artist Inhee Ma and now based in France, offers a collection of handcrafted decorative ceramics. Her creations include vases, teapots, cups, bowls, and plates, all reflecting a minimalist wabi-sabi style and features hand-painted silhouette illustrations on her vases. Each piece is meticulously crafted in her French studio using chamotte stoneware and fired at high temperatures. The result is a beautiful contrast between a glossy, transparent glaze on the interior and a raw, textured exterior that highlights the natural qualities of the clay.
